The Short Version
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of agnishop.com and any related services we provide ("the Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
These Terms are between you and Agni Natural Living ("Agni", "we", "us", "our"), based in Ontario, Canada.
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (18 in most of Canada, 19 in some provinces) to make a purchase through the Services. By placing an order, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
We strive for accuracy, but errors happen. We reserve the right to correct typos, pricing errors, and product description errors at any time, including after you've placed an order — in which case we'll contact you and either honour the corrected price or refund you in full.
All prices on agnishop.com are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout once payment is enabled. Shipping is quoted separately.
Our products are made from natural materials (linen, beeswax, rattan). Slight variations in colour, weave, and finish are normal and part of the character of the product. Photos show representative examples; your unit may differ in small, expected ways.
Joining our email list does not place an order or reserve product. We are pre-launch as of the date of these Terms — no payment is taken, no contract for sale is formed by joining the list. Estimated launch dates are non-binding. If our plans change, we'll communicate that, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The wholesale form is an inquiry, not an order. Submitting it does not create a contract. Pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities are confirmed only in a separate written quote we send you, and even then are subject to formal acceptance. Custom branding (logo printing, custom packaging) requires a separate written agreement and typically a 6–8 week lead time from approved design.
When we enable purchases, an order placed by you constitutes an offer to buy, which we accept by shipping the product. We may decline any order at our discretion, including for stock, fraud, or shipping limitation reasons. If we decline an order after payment, we'll refund you in full.
Payment will be processed through a third-party processor (such as Stripe, Shopify Payments, or Amazon Pay). We do not store your card details. Your payment is governed by the processor's terms in addition to these Terms.
When we begin shipping, risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We'll provide tracking and a reasonable estimated delivery window, but actual delivery times depend on carriers and customs. We're not responsible for carrier delays beyond our control. International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes you're responsible for paying.
When we begin shipping, our return policy will be published on the site. Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) and equivalent laws in other Canadian provinces are preserved and not limited by these Terms.
All content on agnishop.com — text, images, illustrations, recipes, blog posts, the AGNI flame logo, the AGNI LIVING wordmark (Canadian trademark application 2469907), the design of the site, and the way it's all assembled — is owned by Agni or licensed to us. Copyright 2026 Agni Natural Living.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal, non-commercial licence to access and view the content on the site. You may share individual recipes or articles on social media with a link back. You may not: republish content on another site, reproduce it in a book or commercial product, scrape the site or use automated tools to extract content, train AI models on our content, or remove copyright or trademark notices.
If you'd like to feature our content somewhere with proper attribution and a link, email hello@agnishop.com — we usually say yes.
If we add reviews, comments, recipe submissions, or any other user-generated content feature, the following will apply: by submitting content, you grant Agni a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and display your submission in connection with the Services. You represent that you own or have the right to grant this licence and that your content doesn't violate anyone else's rights or any law. We may remove submissions at our discretion.
You agree not to: scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Services beyond what is permitted in our robots.txt; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code; interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Services; submit false information; use the Services to harass others or in violation of any law; or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you're not authorized to access.
Recipes, baking guides, and articles on this site are provided for general information and personal home use. Outcomes vary depending on your ingredients, equipment, technique, and kitchen environment. We are not professional chefs, dietitians, or medical professionals, and our content is not professional advice. If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions, consult a qualified professional. Any references we make to research about microplastics, plastic in food contact, or health are summaries of published peer-reviewed research and are not a diagnosis or medical recommendation.
Except as required by applicable law (including the implied conditions and warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose under the Sale of Goods Act and the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 of Ontario, which we cannot exclude for consumer sales), the Services and our products are provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
This means: we'll do our best, and where Canadian consumer law gives you a right (like a right to merchantable goods), that right stays. Beyond that, we make no extra promises.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agni's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) CA$100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under Canadian consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario), that we are not permitted to limit by contract.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Agni and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
The site may link to third-party sites or use third-party services (Klaviyo, Cloudflare, Google Fonts, payment processors, social media platforms). We're not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content at our discretion, particularly in cases of misuse, abuse, or breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, except that we both retain the right to bring or defend a small claim in small claims court in your home jurisdiction within Canada.
If you're a consumer, applicable mandatory consumer protection laws of your home jurisdiction may also apply, and these Terms don't override them.
Before filing any claim, please contact us at hello@agnishop.com with a description of the issue and what you'd like to see happen. We'll respond within 30 days. Most things can be resolved without involving courts. If we can't reach a resolution, either of us may pursue the claim in court as set out in Section 18.
We do not require mandatory arbitration of consumer disputes, and we do not seek a class-action waiver from Canadian consumers.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email if you're subscribed, and continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the rest of the Terms remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Agni regarding the Services. We may assign these Terms; you may not assign yours without our written consent. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.
